We undertook a corporate web design project for IMImobile. IMImobile needed a new corporate website design as their existing website was dated and didn’t successfully convey the advantages of their products. IMImobile have a large and proactive marketing team who wanted to use their corporate website design to create campaign landing pages and valuable content for their audience. However, their existing site did not provide them the flexibility that they needed for a successful corporate website.

Our corporate website design agency undertook this corporate web design project to provide IMImobile with an easy to manage website, allowing them to update text and imagery but also the menu. They would also have the ability to create new pages and page layouts using a simple backend interface.

IMImobile also had other functional requirements for this corporate web design London project. The website needed to have an option to be multi lingual and integrate with Marketo.

Corporate website design

This corporate web design project was delivered in 12 weeks and is a great example of delivering WordPress for Enterprise. This includes the time required to wireframe and design the corporate website. Our corporate web design team took a clear brief on the look and feel that IMImobile liked and then presented a concept that met the brief and included some innovative new styles. Once the corporate web design was complete, the development began and then a through test across different and browsers was conducted before the corporate website was put live.

Once IMImobile’s initial corporate website design project was complete, we continued to support them on an ongoing basis with new features and functionality. IMImobile’s marketing team wanted to continually improve and innovate their corporate website design and their ongoing digital marketing agency retainer with us enabled them to do this. An SLA was put in place to guarantee rapid response times. Eventually, IMImobile employed their own development team. Our development team provided a thorough handover to help transition the corporate website design from our team to IMImobile’s internal development team.

Key to this project was understanding enterprise lead generation and buying cycles. With our experience in delivering compelling marketing to engage with enterprise customers, we were able to craft user journeys that would increase conversions from IMImobile’s key user archetypes.

Gated content

Working with Marketo, we enabled IMI’s team to publish their white papers as gated content, where users have to provide personal information to gain access.

In-context sub-nav

With complex products and service offerings we designed a sub-nav that scrolled with the page, making each section of the website easy to navigate at all points.

Design approach

We needed to create a long-lasting design that would increase visitor engagement. The website CMS needed to be easy for IMImobile to manage post launch as they regularly update banner imagery, text and PDFs.

On-going maintenance and support

IMImobile’s marketing team are very proactive and regularly make updates to their website. The CMS is intuitive and flexible so they are able to manage content without support from Plug & Play. IMImobile commissioned an ongoing retainer to develop new features and functionality to ensure that the website remained fresh, up to date and allowed them to innovate at the level they needed.
